I need to design a synchronous counter using SOP and POS realizations. I'm given a set of data, F(A,B,C,D)=sum(1,3,5,7,13,15). I read the section in my book about synchronous counters, which is 6.4 in Digital Design by M. Morris Mano. I'm not quite sure what I do with the data in order to design this counter. The book just confused me more with its explanations. Perhaps someone is kind enough to point me in the right direction. Thanks for your time.
