Just a quicky:
I've been trying to derive some expressions for derivatives of a complex functions of a complex variable using the traditional limit definition.
I've become stuck when trying to differentiate z^a wrt complex z and where a is a complex constant. I know the way to define z^a using exponentials and logs but It becomes a bit iffy when I look for the derivative.
