If a farsighted person wears glasses of prescription +3.2, what is the person's near point if the glasses are very close to the eyes?
P=1/f =1/d_0+1/d_i= +3.2
=1/.25m+1/-d_i=+3.2
1/-d_i=-.8
d_i=1.25m
near point = 1.25 m
what does "very close to the eyes" mean? like contacts?
Is this setup right?
do you just assume .25m for d_0?
