A delivery truck can travel at maximum speed of 80 kph. When travelling at x kph it uses fuel at a rate of o/x + x/80 liters/km.
Fuel costs 50cents a liter. The truck must make a 1000km journey, the driver being paid $20.00 an hour. Find the most economical speed.
I don't understand what the given equation mean? 0/x? can you explain it to me and solve it. thanks
