I know that GSM allows for frequency hopping and automatic switching between bands if a specific band is "busy", but does anyone know whether the phone can switch between bands while one is in the middle of a call. i.e.- be talking to someone on the 1900MHz band and then be able to switch over to the 850MHz band mid-conversation.
