Today in class I learned that the Nutation (Wobbling of the Earth's axis) causes the continents to be uneven. That's why we have uneven oceans and continents. I know that the tectonic plates also change the shape of continents from Earth science classes. Does the movement of tectonic plates have to do with nutation? Can anyone expand on this idea?
