hello readers,
I have a question in mind :
if we lattice dynamical systems using a certain difference equation
governing the behaviour of the continous state variable in discrete
space and time(CML). In certain situation we sometimes get to observe
localised chaos in certain parameter regime(coupling constant). By
localised chaos I mean that the turbulent or infected sites remain
infected/turbulent and those laminar be laminar at all iterations.
The same system exhibit whole spatiotemporal chaos when we increase the
coupling parameter.
The question is :
How do we characterize this dynamic phase transition? What is the
order parameter for such a transition from localised chaos to
spatiotemporal chaos.
