In a source of emf, electrons flow from positive to negative.
Is it correct that in a battery this is achieved by a reduction reaction at the positive terminal and then an oxidation reaction at the negative terminal?
What happens when the supply is a power pack? Are new electrons just provided by the mains supply, or are they 'recycled' within the power pack?
