The above is the quiz problem which I do not understand. Below is my worked out version on word. I cant figure out how to get that negative value at the end of the problem.

There is a bit of ambiguity in your question. Does the red tab over answer b mean that you punched b but b is the wrong answer, or b is supposedly the correct answer?

Your worked out answer corresponds to f, none of the above.

Oh yes, sorry. I punched B out of desperation and it was wrong. I could not find the right answer and none of the above is never a choice in this class so I had to guess...

I just re did the quiz a few hours ago and they seem to have fixed that negative sign so I guess it was a typo.

Yes, your solution is correct. That "-10x" is clearly a typo- which proves that you are better than whoever set the test!
