Form the player's and not the team's point of view, what's best: be picked early by a team that sucks, ie Carson Palmer going to Cincinnati, or to go late to a bigger team?
I figure Palmer has a greater chance of getting into the team that someone who's picked by, say, Oakland in the second, third, fourth, etc rounds.
Also, how long has Palmer got to stay at Cincinnati? Is it open to negotiation or are their rules on this, like he's got to stay three years?
Finally, how many of these drafted players get to be millionaires straight away?
