Could someone plesse tell me the definition of metal settling time, in the context of the time it takes for a metal to become solid from its molten state.
I have looked through a few handbooks but none has this.
Personally I think it should refer to the time between when the heating of the metal is removed,and the time when thge metal first first solidifies completely.[*(]
