Hi there,
I need some help regarding this aspirin lab i am currently doing. There is one section that asks about the formation (synthesis) of phenyl salicylate. I need to determine a method to accomplish this synthesis knowing that this phenyl ester doesnt react with salicylic acid directly?
Is there something that I add for the reaction to occur?
