What's with the PF logo?

I just noticed that there is an S in the P and an A in the F of the PhysicsForums logo. What do they stand for? :confused:

Sorry I didn't see that and I just read it, I din't expect it to be so sad :( I don't think I remember any contact with him, but nonetheless he sounds like a great guy.
