I have recently bought a most interesting book. It is interesting both because of its content and author.
The book is Dominion by Matthew Scully. Scully is a speechwriter for pres bush. Not surprisingly, he is a conservative. Dominion has the subtitle, "The Power of Man, the Suffering of Animals, and the Call to Mercy". Normally, I would think that such a book would come from an ultra-liberal individual. I find the fact that this man wrote it both interesting and hope-inspiring. It should be a great read, and I hope that I will get through a good amount of it before I give it to my mother.
