Newsgroups

Is there any way to disable the newsgroups forums in the "New Posts" search, or any other particular forum?

I'm presuming that flood of newsgroups posts was just a 1-time mistake, though.

The newgroup posts will become part of PF just like any other forum. Why do you want to dsiable them?

Because of that one day when we were flodded with them and I had trouble sifting through the new posts to find the regular ones!

If that doesn't happen again I'll have no reason to disable, of course.

We're still testing and working the system. We should be done soon in which that shouldn't happen again :smile:

I've modified the New Posts search so it does not search the two usenet forums. If you want to venture in there, you may -- if not, it won't be shoved in your face.

I'm considering making this a user-settable option.
