In the exp using 1/2 silvered mirrors to decide which path a photon takes after it has been given enough time to just arrive at the final mirror. What if you give the photon enough time to get passed the point where the final mirror is to be inserted (prior to it reaching the detector though) before inserting the final mirror, is the path still affected, or does the "photon" have to go through the final mirror in order to affect the particles path?
