Excuses, Excuses

Being a unusual person, when my class signed up for Physics projects I chose to compile the largest list of physically plausible excuses I could.

Organised into 3 catagories
Experimental Error
Personal (late to class, forgetfulness, anything that doesn't fit into the other catagories)
Lost homework (or glasses, keys)

The trouble is, I can't seem to find a basic list of theories (or even their names) to start from. And searching "physics theory" only yields Theoretical Physics related pages.

So, if you have a favourite theory (or law), could you (please) post it? Having a name to start with would be a help.
