I was wondering about the magnitude of magnetising resistance losses in a step down transformer,(N1=480turns, N2=240)...in the equivalent circuit this in parallel to everything else.
On a question i am doing i have found it to be very high 4kilo ohhms, that seems to be too large to me. Is this in the typical range, is this possible or are my numbers way off and i need to do them a different way.
