If there were two capacitors, in a parallel connection, that were charged, and then the switch is opened. Will the capacitor discharge faster or slower if there were just one capacitor?

How will it be different for a series connection?

Do you know how to calculate parallel and serial capacitance? Also do you know how to calculate RC time constants. Draw two "test" circuits using 10 nF caps one series and one parallel then calculate capacitance and the RC time constant to see which will discharge quicker...
