So the Easter celebrations in the Vatican, in Afghanistan, Iraq etc have been in the news all weekend; meanwhile....

The number of United States military personnel killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion five years ago has passed the 4,000 mark.

The latest to die were four soldiers whose patrol vehicle was blown up by a bomb in southern Baghdad on Sunday.

The deaths bring the total to 4,000, according to the US military and independent monitoring groups.

Insurgent attacks and US military operations left at least 47 people dead across Iraq on Sunday.

Not to be knit-picking, but what are you suggesting we discuss exactly?

Yeah, as terrible as that is, I'm more concerned with the Iraqi death toll reaching \simeq 1,033,239 \pm1.7% at 20% error (http://www.opinion.co.uk/Newsroom_details.aspx?NewsId=88) or between 946,258-1,120,220. Call me callous but that's several orders of magnitude or so larger.
