Not sure how many people here would be interested in this project, just thought I would let everyone know.
Folding@home is a distributed computing project developed by the University of Stanford to figure out the basics of protein folding and/or mis-folding (which results in many known diseases). Now there is a cash prize for people who contribute their computer cycles - the F@H prize.
