I would like to know how much power (480/3) is needed to power a bank of battery chargers with name plate amps of 799.8 amps (480/3 phase). I know that to be safe I should pull 800 amp to the room but there are 93 chargers. Battery life is 8-10 hours (cool down 8 hours). It seems to me that as much as 1/3 of the chargers will be off at any time.
The battery vendor doesn't know. I don't know the industry standard. 800 AMP is huge!
