LQG, graviton absorption

In LQG, is the graviton absorbed (and then subsequently retransmitted without scatter), or is does the graviton pass through the body like a gravitational wave would in classical theory? Just curious to know what the concensus on this is amongst the differing theories of quantum gravity.
