Hi,
I am a physics major and I have been building an ion mobility spectrometer. I have gotten to the point where I can control a DC ion current through the collector and am working to get to the point where I can pulse the signal to get a spectrum. I have read a lot of papers on this subject, but am wondering if there is anything anyone knows of that is on a more elementary level? Although I understand the concepts of how the instrument works, the hardest part is figuring out the electrical circuitry. Any suggestions of where to find any info on building an IMS from scratch?
Thanks!
Jessica
