Riemannian Geometry "plan"

I've done most of baby doCarmo. I want to use Riemannian Geometry by doCarmo and then use Comparison Theorems by Cheeger and Ebin.

Is this an OK plan?

It seems like the Peterson text on Riemannian geometry is also very quality as it has some nice comparison theorems in it as well.

Any help?
