Epperson's Numerical Analysis.

Hi.

I am wanting to buy Epperson's book "An Introduction to Numerical Methods and Analysis", and I would like to know what are the differences between the second and first editions besides $100? Is it ok if I get the first edition?

Also, how good is Hildebrand's book on numerical analysis? It is about 30 years old so is it still relevant?
