A recently awarded RO1 funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to study molecular signaling during cellular senescence as related to oncogenesis. The focus of the laboratory is on the formation of tumor induced senescent/suppressor immune cells and the importance of accelerated senescence in chemotherapy resistance in cancer.
