Hello
Can anyone help me determine how much an aluminum shaft with the following dimensions can take before bending?
Diameter 20mm
Length 510mm
The shaft would be suspended between 2 points at the extreme ends, and the force would be applied to the middle of the shaft.
I do not yet know the grade of Aluminum, but if it matters, go with the most common type.
Any help appreciated!
