ok,

im trying to find the values of A and B of the following function;

Ae^-x + B e^-2x +3/10 sin x + 1/10 cos x with conditions x(0)=-3 and x'(0) = 3

my first condition gives:

A + B = -3
Not sure about the second one.
Please help.

if this comes from the original question in that other thread, don't you mean y(0) and y'(0), so differentiate and put x=0, and cos 0f 0 isn't 0, by the way.
