Hi,
I have a shaft OD of .31" and the material is ledloy (steel 12L14). The torsion spring at one end of the shaft has a moment of 10 lbf-in which causes the ahft to twist. I don't have the shear stress information. How can I determine if the .31" OD shaft is good?
