Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can help me I have to find the maximum rebound on a shock absorber the original equation is -5e^(-5t)Cos(10t) and have found the derivative to be Tan(10t) = -1/2
then
(10t) = -(inverse)tan (1/2)
I have attached the graph that i am working from but not sure what the next steps are how do i use this formula and find the max height on the graph?
if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great
Cheers
