Hi,
can anyone explain in easy terms how the simplex method works for optimization?
Also I am using fminsearch to perform a chi-squared minimization on a 6 parameter function on data that has already been fitted. I am trying to mimic the fit but I can't even get close to the normalized chi-squared values. Any tips?
