A shaft with torque τ has just started to rotate inside a machine part against friction force FB. What is the force FA required to hold the part horizontal?

3. The attempt at a solution
First, the net torque about the shaft:
-τ + r FB + dmg + 2d FA = 0
FA = (τ - r FB - dmg)/2d
