... if that type of economic system were possible, where existing capital, and services were entirely replicated without needing to engage in some form of exchange, i.e. the consumer and the producer are able to replicate the existing goods and services they need like music, cars, gas , computers, etc without relying on each other. then capitalism would then be obsolete. However if capitalism were to become obsolete, then competition dies as well. IF competition were to die along with capitalism , then the need for humans to create better services and products by improving the quality of their current product would die off as well. Then human society would not be able to progress as a whole if we on our own had the ability to only replicate current existing products and services. So would this imply that capitalism is the only viable solution to making existing conditions for humans better?
