Someone here mentioned resonant tunneling, and Im wondering what
interesting effects can it generate. Can you, say, with a double
barrier of the right size shoot a lump made of "lower than the barrier
energy" energy eigenstates, and have the bulk of it shoot straight
through? I mean, sure there's abstract transmission probabilities, but
do they boil down to allowing this behavion?
