Hello there! I am a mechanical engineer switching to aerospace. My basic fundamentals are strong by studying books like Missile aerodynamiocs(nielsen),fundamentals of aerodynamics(anderson).
My question is that i am applying slender body theory(neilsen) to design the planform of the wing/tail. Once i get the planform correct, i have to go for selecting an airfoil(s). and also washin/washout. How do i use my designed planform to select the required airfoils?
Please consider both subsonic and supersonic regimes.Reply asap.
