While applying pascal's law to a fluid, is it necessary that the fluid be the same. For e.g. if I have a U tube filled with liquid A and I pour some liquid B, then can I apply pascals law , equating pressure at equal heights. But obv this gives the wrong answer. But why cant we apply it to diff medium, the law doesnt state it anyway.
