I just brought a second hand new book for four quid :)
I have had only a very basic formal education in physics (erm when I was awake ;) in the form of a mechanics and electronics engineering course, I was wondering if this book is suitable.
College Physics Fourth Edition volume 2 by Prentice Hall. It seems to have good goals such as 'understanding and doing - insight and skill'. And has alot of the topics I am most interested in.
