Brightest Galaxy (Greatest Luminosity)
The brightest galaxy appears to be AMP 08279+5255, a remote galaxy with a red shift (a measure of lengthening wavelengths of light) of 3.87 and a luminosity 5*10^15 times that of the sun. :cool:
