Hi Everyone:
I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone had any ideas re: source analysis. Basically, the experiment involved doing source analysis on early evoked potentials. After, I was instructed to compare the electrodes that we used for the analysis (comparing peaks) with the electrodes that the dipoles each covered. However, I am confused about the reason for that. I was told to determine whether the electrodes selected correspond well to the dipoles and if they do, what I can say about the underlying dipoles based on the scalp waveforms. Can anybody help clarify this? Or advise me where to look further for related information? I am a graduate student in the field, but have only been doing Neuroscience research for about a year and a half. Thanks in advance!
