How I can design any shaft for any purpose ... ?

How I should start designing ... ?

What is the formulas that I should depend in my work as a designer ( Machine Designer ) ... ?


I'm working in the field of ( Cold Roll forming machines ) used for forming metal sheets ...

I have Rollers I should decide which size of shafts I should use for those rollers ...

Then How Much Horse Power I should use for this or that kind of rollers ...!!!
