Hi
I am taking a gap year this coming year before going to uni to study General Engineering. I need to attempt to keep my level of maths up while also wanting to read some books on engineering for interest, but have found it very hard to find any books which are at the right level - not too basic or simplistic but also not uni-level text books!
Has anyone got any recommendations on good, interesting books to read about (any) engineering disciplines which I would be able to tackle with A-level maths, further maths and physics (UK)?
Also any recommendations on good maths books with which I could keep up my level of maths and possibly develop it?
Thanks for any help!
Mark
