Just curious about the contents of the bill (or proposal, or whatever it's called) about re-instituting the draft and whether women and men would have an equal chance of being drafted under it's provisions.

Yes.H.R.163 (http://www.congress.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d108:H.R.163:) H.R.163
Title: To provide for the common defense by requiring that all young persons in the United States, including women, perform a period of military service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, and for other purposes.

btw..The sponsor and all Co-sponsors are Democrats and it's expected to be brought up for vote in 2005.
