I want to get a media player for my mom, when i search online, i find this Microsoft Zune 120GB (http://www.dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?type=id&q=d48043&ru=281) has verry good reviews for the price $189, what do you think? I may finally get it if possible.

I haven't used it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was quality. I know the new generations of Zune's have been reviewed well. However, Apple has them perfected. I'll always buy Apple.
It depends, on whether you like Apple or Zune. IMHO, I would go with Zune ;P

The Zune HD looks interesting, but a bit limiting as there is very little app support. I have strayed from Apple a few times and always end up regretting it.

If you are looking for Apps, don't go with Zune. I haven't seen much emphasis in that direction. I use Zune for the FM radio tuner, ability to update my songs wirelessly over any wireless hotspot, syncing wirelessly with my computers at home, sharing wirelessly with friends who also have Zune, and using the Zune pass to listen to any music that catches my fancy when I'm at my computer. The pass is a great way to listen to new artists and be aware of new music by your favourite artists (you can listen to an unlimited number of full-length songs for the term of the pass and permanently download 10 songs for no extra charge. Channels allow you to sample full songs on playlists tailored to your existing collection). The Zune software comes with a free 14-day pass even if you don't own a Zune. iTunes unfortunately does not offer anything like it.
