You mean I've just been hearing that in my own head, and my mom really wasn't actually asking why I haven't called lately? No, it can't be true. I KNOW when she calls, she isn't asking how I am, but clearly says, "I just wanted to see if you're still alive, since I never hear from you." Right? :uhh:

The cartoon never says that what you hear is wrong, it just gives the correct translation of "parent" language to "son/daughter" language.

Any parent that hasn't given proper training in foreign languages to their child should relinquish all naked baby pictures of said child ("Any parent that hasn't browbeaten their ungrateful brat into a permanent state of guilt should be drawn and quartered by child protective services")
