Case changed when submitted

When I entered the following reply in the "Where are you" thread, the letters N and W were in upper case, but in the post they came out in lower case, even after attempting to edit it to change it. Is there a reason for this?

This happened to my post in the same thread, and it also happened to "Black Hole" in my post

Strangely, the other words in the book's title retained their upper case letters.
