Hi all
I am looking for a way of estimating stress and displacement of the following frame. I used ANSYS to analyze it, but still need some comparison.
I think that I will use Direct stiffness method as a way of finding displacement etc. but as it would be the first time I use this method, I really need a good advice or a way of approach into this. (another method would do ok)
Given
A: 144 mm^2 (20x20x2)
Izz: 7872 mm^4
E: 210 GPa (steel)
l1: 740 mm
l2: 380 mm
l3: 180 mm
w1: 300 N/m
w2: 400 N/m
