Take for a moment the Everett interpretation as an assumption. (I don't want to debate its correctness.) Suppose the spin of an electron is measured. At first glance you would have a two-fold split, but upon consideration it would seem that you would have an infinite one [of cardinality 2^(2^aleph-one))] of an infinite number of new wavefunctions. Which of the two cardinalities (2 or 2^cardinality of the continuum) is accepted? or another?
