a thin rectangle plate is deformed uniformly into another rectangle as shown

the extension strain along its length is 0.02 and the width remains the same .
compute approximately the shear stain
what i have tried is to find the ratio between W and L, then find the new length L1=(1+0.02)*L and finally find the angle that opens wu with the change to solve
my solution
