Hi,
I have a coupled pendulum where the 2 pendulums are identical and are connected by a light coupling spring. Each pendulum has length .4m and g = 9.8m/s^2. With the coupling connected, one pendulum is clamped and the period of the other is 1.25 sec. I am asked for the time interval between successive maxima of 1 pendulum after 1 pendulum is drawn aside and released.
